Yardstead Notes

I make this bread in my Oster Expressbake bread maker using the 1½-pound loaf setting. Bread machines can vary, so if you use a different model, follow your machine's instructions for ingredient order and loaf settings.

Garden to Kitchen

From the Yardstead Kitchen

Not everything from the Yardstead kitchen begins in the garden. A simple loaf of homemade bread makes a wonderful companion to jams, jellies, and preserves made from the garden harvest. It is one more way to enjoy homemade food around the Yardstead.
